2006 Accomplishments and Activities                                View Financials

Our first year as a separate non-profit organization.                               

• Set up organization
  

  Set up LifeSpark bank account and financial systems

  Revised website, set up e-commerce and on-line enrollment
  Initiated use of on-line database and converted existing data into system
  Wrote first newsletter for LifeSpark
  Created conference display for booths and health fairs

• In 2006 LifeSpark provided the following:

  Served 56 individuals with Reiki & Healing Touch sessions
  Provided 690 hours of donated Reiki and Healing Touch sessions

• Locations for sessions

  Began offering sessions at Denver Health Medical Center - Denver
  Moved sessions from St Johns Episcopal Church to St. Barnabas Episcopal
  Church - Denver
  Began offering sessions at Foothills Hospital - Boulder
  Continued sessions at HealthLinks Clinic - Boulder
  Continued sessions at Green Mountain United Methodist Church - Lakewood
  Began offering sessions at Swedish Radiation Oncology - Englewood
  Began using King of Glory Lutheran Church (Arvada) for monthly providers' education/support group

• Marketing and publicity

  LifeSpark was featured in the December 06 "Energy Magazine"

• Trained new providers

  Held two New Provider Seminars
  Trained 22 new Reiki and Healing Touch providers for service in LifeSpark

• Continued support and professional development for volunteer providers

  Held 11 Growth and Connections meetings with professional development content
  Initiated quarterly "local" meetings at locations where sessions are held

• Offered public education at numerous events

  Initiated Touching Lives events (free educational events for small audiences)
  Held four events with 31 attendees
  Created slide show set to music with images of energy therapies at work
  Provided free mini-sessions at Denver Health Resource Center dedication
  Presentation and staffed a booth at Businesses Honoring Spirituality
  Provided free mini-sessions at Clinix Day of Indulgence
  Presented a poster at Healing Touch International Conference
  Provided full sessions to 27 health care professionals at Denver Health
  Presentation to Visiting Nurses Association staff members
