New Provider Seminar

Individuals with Reiki and Healing Touch training who would like to join LifeSpark must first attend the New Providers Seminar.  This 18 hour seminar covers professionalism, ethics, interpersonal relationships with the your cancer participant, energetic issues related to cancer, and self care for the healer. This seminar is offered twice a year in the spring and fall and is packed with practical information and hands-on practice that will benefit all who practice energy therapies. Seminar Details

Date: Feb 13-15, 2009 and Oct 23-25, 2009

Time: Friday 6-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8:30-6:00 p.m.

Location: Loretto Spirituality Center, 4000 South Wadsworth Blvd, Littleton, Colorado 80123

Meals:  Lunch is included for Saturday and Sunday. Snacks and filtered water are available at all times.  If you have specific dietary needs please bring what ever is needed for your health.

Overnight: Overnight accomodations are available for a modest $65 per night.  This includes breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

Materials: You will receive a 100 page manual filled with documents, articles, and resources.

Contact Hours: You will receive a certificate of completion for 18 contact hours. 

Tuition:  There is a $185 fee to attend the training seminar.  However, this tuition will be fully refunded in the form of a scholarship for professional development after 20 sessions have been completed in the program (must be within one year of training). 

Reimbursement: Professional development that qualifies for reimbursement includes classes that further your development as a healer such as further training in Reiki or Healing Touch, classes about anatomy, physiology, psychology, energy principles, self care, spirituality,and a range of other topics. We offer this reimbursement because we want to encourage your contining professional development as an energy therapist. As each of us developes professionally, we raise the standard of excellence in our field.

Repeat the Training:  Those repeating the training can do so at no cost.  We need to know at least a week ahead of time to reserve your lunch each day.
